What Happened on the First Thanksgiving?
Lauren Elizabeth - The people got Christmas trees and ate cinnamon toast.
Preston - People made Thanksgiving dinner with hot chocolate because it snowed.
Ethan - They celebrated and ate squash, beans and other stuff.
Christian - In November of 1621 the Pilgrims and the Indians had a feast to say "Thank You" to God for His help. The Indians were Squanto, Samoset and Chief Massasoit and the feast lasted for three days.
What Did They Eat on the First Thanksgiving?
Lauren Elizabeth - Cookies
Preston - They ate a big Birthday cake.
Ethan - They had turkey and corn.
Christian - Turkey, corn, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and ummm...bread.
Lauren, how did they make the cookies?
Lauren Elizabeth - They made them with Princess Leia.
Preston, how did they make the Birthday cake?
Preston - They put some sugar and flour together.
Ethan, how did they make the turkey?
Ethan - They shot the turkey and then they ate it.
Christian, how did they make the pumpkin pie?
Christian - Um, well, they had to make the crust out of some dough. Then they put the pumpkin stuff in it and took all the seeds out. They put it in an oven for about 30 minutes, or maybe 10 minutes. They had to make sure the oven was really hot, like around 72 degrees. When it was done, Wah La! They ate the pumpkin pie.
