The movie was called "Smart Cookies." It stars Jessalyn Gilsig (from Glee), Bailee Madison and Patricia Richardson (the mom from Home Improvement).
It's a fun story about a woman named Julie Sterling (Jessalyn Gilsig) who is a no nonsense realtor. She means business and is only a couple of sales away from being named the "Real Estate Agent of the Year." Her boss Lola (Patricia Richardson) decides to promote the company by starting a community outreach program. Lola assigns Julie to a struggling Girl Scout Troop named the "Fireflies."
Julie is the type that is used to thinking only about herself. It's nice to see the heartfelt development of the bond that grows between the new troop leader and the group of struggling girls. One of the young Girl Scouts named Daisy, (Bailee Madison) is especially adorable in leading the troop to the challenge of winning the annual cookie drive.
Julie and her determined troop are given challenges by their rival Girl Scout Troop, "The Monarchs," led by their hardcore leader, Hazel (Samantha Ferris of "Supernatural").
Things take a fun turn when Julie becomes particularly aware of Girl Scout Daisy's dad (Ty Olsson of the "Twilight Saga").
