I loved being able to watch the kids play and spend time with their grandparents. It was wonderful to see them all together. One of my favorite times from their stay was probably the most simple. We broke out the game of Uno the other night and sat around the kitchen table. All eight of us carried on and laughed as the game got more and more heated. Even the two little ones got in on the action.
The past week has been full of popsicles on the porch with Grandpapa and playing outside with Grandmama. The kids are lucky to have them as Grandparents and I'm so glad they were able to visit.
There's nothing more important than the gift of family and friends. It was nice to be able to slow the world down for a few days and spend more time together - having fun while they were here.
We don't know when we'll get to see them again but hopefully it will be soon. They were brave to travel all that way to come and stay in this crazy and wild home but we're sure glad that they did.
We Miss and Love You and want to Thank You again for the visit! Come back soon because you have four (six) kids who are sad that you're gone...and one more game of Uno with your names written all over it! XOXO
